An in-situ cell for following operando electrochemical reactions using x-ray absorption in transmission or fluorescence mode.
- It is a 3 electrode cell: the reference and counter electrodes can be replaced depending on the users’ demand. The working electrode is customized carbon.
- The cell can be divided internally into two parts, and an ion-exchange membrane can be added between them to realize the function of H-type cell.
- It has a gas inlet an outlet for analysis of reaction products.
- The cell is made of PEEK, and the thickness of the liquid can be adjusted to meet different requirements.
- The optical window material can be varied to suit the experiment (kapton, beryllium, etc.).
