An in-situ cell for following operando electrochemical reactions using x-ray absorption in transmission or fluorescence mode.
It is a 3 electrode cell: the reference and counter electrodes can be replaced depending on the users’ demand. The working electrode is customized carbon.
The cell can be divided internally into two parts, and an ion-exchange membrane can be added between them to realize the function of H-type cell.
It has a gas inlet an outlet for analysis of reaction products.
The cell is made of PEEK, and the thickness of the liquid can be adjusted to meet different requirements.
The optical window material can be varied to suit the experiment (kapton, beryllium, etc.).
