The setup allows the measurement of time-resolved grazing incidence x-ray diffraction (GIXRD) patterns during the spin coating process. The spin speed is adjustable between 200 and 4600 RPM. A splash guard assembly with Kapton film prevents the solution from splashing onto the instrument and detector during spin coating.
